What should you include in a Social Media Management Proposal?

This is one of the most important steps within the onboarding process when you're a social media manager.

The proposal outlines not only the services you're offering but how you're going to solve your client's pain points. It's the next logical step after you have had a Discovery Call so it's important to get it right.
This is what I typically like to include:
Introduction
Outline who you are, what services you are offering to this specific client and how you might be able to help.
Goals and Objectives
Take this information from your discussions with the client. Outline their needs here so you’re all on the same page.
SWOT Analysis
Include your SWOT analysis. It shows the client that you know their profile inside out.
Feed examples
This doesn’t need to be a feed example for this exact client but it can be a feed example for a similar brand to this new client to show what their feed could possibly look like.
You could also link to your portfolio.
Package options
If you tailor your packages, this is where you outline it. Include all the details for what each package would include and only include the services relevant to your client.
Testimonials
This is your first real social proof opportunity. Show your client reviews and even some case studies if you have it.
Timeline of content deliverables
Show your clients what the usual timeline is for content deliverables. Do you send it through on the 1st of every month? Are you scheduling a month ahead? How long do they have to approve content? Do you have a turnaround based on feedback?
It's recommended to use a template, especially if you are just starting out or are looking to save time. Take something like the below into Canva, change the colour palate to match your business colours and be prepared to wow your clients.
